Getting Started
How does MergArt work?
MergArt uses AI to transform your photos into stunning artwork. Choose a style preset, upload a photo from your gallery, and tap Generate. Your transformed image is ready in seconds.
What photo formats are supported?
MergArt supports JPEG, PNG, and WebP images. For best results, use a well-lit photo where the subject is clearly visible. Minimum resolution is 256×256 pixels.
How does the credit system work?
Generations are paid for with credits. MergArt has three kinds of credits:
- Free credits — a small one-time trial allowance granted to registered users on first sign-in. Spent first when you generate. Anonymous device sessions are not eligible for free credits.
- Subscription credits — included with the weekly or monthly subscription. Refreshed at the start of each new billing cycle (your Apple renewal date), not on the first of the calendar month. Unused subscription credits do not roll over.
- Add-on credits — one-time credit packs you can buy at any time. They never expire and stay on your account until you spend them, but they are tied to the account that bought them — see "Can I move credits between accounts?" below.
The exact prices and credit amounts for each plan and pack are shown in the App at the moment of purchase, since they may vary by region.
Subscription
Which subscription plans are available?
MergArt offers two auto-renewing subscription tiers — a weekly plan and a monthly plan. Each tier includes a fixed number of AI generations per cycle plus access to all styles. The credit allowance and price for each tier are displayed in the App's paywall.
How do I restore my purchase?
Go to Profile → Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. Restore re-attaches active subscriptions; it does not return unused balance from an add-on credit pack that was bought under a different account on this device.
Can I move credits between accounts?
An active subscription can be transferred to a different MergArt account on the same Apple ID using Restore Purchases. However, add-on credit packs cannot be moved between MergArt accounts. Credit packs are credited to whichever account (or anonymous session) was signed in when the purchase was made; if you sign out and sign in as someone else on the same device, the unused balance stays with the original account. We recommend signing in to the account you want before purchasing a credit pack.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → MergArt → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until that date.
Account
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, cancel it through the iPhone Settings app separately — deleting your MergArt account does not cancel your Apple subscription.
Can I use MergArt without an account?
Yes. When you first open MergArt, the app creates an anonymous session tied to your device so you can browse styles, subscribe, or buy a credit pack without signing in. To receive free credits, save your history across devices, or restore purchases after reinstalling, you'll need to sign in with Apple, Google, or your email address.
